BRIAN HOLLEY MIPD MIITT Dip. C.G. has been involved in training since 1972.
After working as a training consultant on projects for TSB, Shell (UK), Bath
University, Lloyds Bank and Commercial Union, he trained as a careers adviser
and became responsible for various aspects of careers teacher training and careers
service staff training in a local authority. His involvement with computers
led to his becoming a Management Information Officer in further education services.
During this time he researched and developed a computer-based labour market
information system for colleges. He has been designing and running courses for
companies and Training and Enterprise Councils since 1992.
ELIZABETH WARREN MA,
AMFIC read English at Aberdeen University and was a Commonwealth Postgraduate
Research Scholar in Sri Lanka. She has since lectured in several British further
education colleges and schools. After working in political administration, she
qualified as an image consultant with internationally known First Impressions
in 1991. She has been commissioned as a consultant in both the private and public
sectors, and works with individual and corporate clients advising on both business
and personal image needs.
LINDA TAYLOR MA
DMS MIPD managed 850 Britannia Airways cabin crew through 8 regional
managers at bases within the UK. During that period she helped to set up the
National Airline of Yemen. She subsequently managed the delivery of high-standard
customer service for Caledonian Airways. An expert in quality management, Linda
spent four years managing quality training for Rank Xerox (UK) and three years
as a quality consultant for Eagle Star. (Linda's MA is in Human Resource Management).
ALASTAIR HAMILL MBA, FI Mgt,
MIPD, MISEA, AMIMC developed a wide range of management skills during
his eighteen years with Gulf Oil. He managed teams of sales engineers before
becoming responsible for job and policy design, total quality management, training
and internal consultancy services for organisation development. As Manager of
Customer Services and Distribution, he was responsible for a £12 million
budget, 200 company and contract employees and over 100 vehicles. He lectures
in Human Resource Management at a Gloucestershire college.
MALCOLM LOVE BA
was a freelance journalist in El Salvador and Nicaragua before joining
the BBC. He studied training with Guardian Business Services and worked as a
trainer for BBC Network Radio. As a senior producer at the BBCs Features
and Documentary Department in Bristol he produced programmes featuring such
people as Brian Redhead, Sir Bernard Ingham, Edna OBrien, Miles Kington,
Claire Rayner, John Cleese, Kate Adie and John Humphrys.
JOHN PROCTER MBE BA(Hons) FIPD is a training and
development professional with significant experience in aspects of human resource
management at operational and strategic levels. He has extensive international
business experience with clients in private, public and voluntary sectors, and
has made significant contributions to their corporate success through his activities.
He has a pragmatic approach and the ability to create an environment of mutual
trust and respect.. He is an accredited member of the South West Register used
